IV. Usage

Do and don't.

Do
Keep clear space.

Maintain padding around the wordmark equal to the height of the cap "F." Treat that breathing room as part of the logo itself.

Don't
Stretch or distort.

Always preserve the original aspect ratio. Never stretch, squash, skew, or rotate the wordmark.

Do
Use approved colors.

Cream on dark, dark green on light, or olive for editorial. Use the brand mint sparingly as accent only, never as the wordmark color.

Don't
Recolor outside the palette.

No off-brand colors, no gradients, no patterns or photos filled into the wordmark glyphs.

Do
Respect minimum size.

Digital: at least 24px in wordmark height. Print: at least 0.5 inch. Below these sizes, switch to a tighter wordmark crop or omit.

Don't
Add effects.

No drop shadows, glows, outlines, embossing, or any other treatment on the wordmark. The form stays clean.

Do
Pair with contrasting backgrounds.

Choose backgrounds that give the wordmark a contrast ratio above 4.5:1. When in doubt, default to cream on the dark base.

Don't
Crop or redraw.

Never crop, retrace, or modify the wordmark. Always use the official files from this page.
